I know it may be hard, but go apologize & if necessary (you feel like Ты should), tell him that Ты were just having a rough time. Also possibly ask him why he was being so mean to you; maybe he was going through a difficult time too или maybe he even likes Ты (if this is the case, don't be afraid to tell him how Ты really feel about him - whether Ты just want to be friends, или if you're willing to give him a go).
