I think everyone who has more than just a mild curiosity about experimenting, should.
I mean don't jump into it if you're just sitting there thinking 'hmm i wonder what its like' because i think everyone does that.

Well, it's been my personal experience that you can't really choose who you're attracted to...whether you choose to act on those feelings is up to you.
What annoys me are those girls who pretend to be bi because it's "hot" and they think that it will increase their desirability around guys. Then, these girls will sometimes end up breaking the heart of a real bi/lesbian girl who they get romantically involved with. "Whoops, thought I was gay. Sorry."

If your not confused what's the point in confusing yourself? And others .. if your confused and unsure maybe experimenting would be a good idea.

yes shmalex i know exactly what you mean! if it's two girls (yes i am being sexist and saying girls because I've never known a guy to do this so screw PC) and they both know the exact score and where they stand then fair enough but i have a gay friend that once got very hurt by a girl trying to pull a guy by trying to be "a hot bi"

I've never heard of that hot bi thing...maybe just because I go to a snobby school where being gay is considered by some people to be the funniest and taboo-est thing ever. My friend has gay parents and got a lot of homophobic comments about her mothers' little "love nest" and all their "sexual exploits with their other lesbo friends." said behind her back by a lot of cowardly bitter bitches.

I think being gay is totally normal and healthy, 10% of people are anyway. And probably even more are unsure of themselves as teenagers. So it's fine as long as no one's feelings get hurt.

unfortunetly my culture has thought me that is bad to play with sexuality and there are even jokes about it like the men after 40 becomes gay (in spanish it rhymes)

also before I went to live to the USA I thought being gay was a curse god gave to some people but now I think a bit different

That's what I think. =) I think I've seen a statistic about a good portion of people experimenting like so because they were curious and/or confused. It seems like a natural thing to want to try.

i'm going through this same problem 2. But what makes it harder 4 me is that my family is christain, so they hate bi and struff; so i can't really figure out what i am without hurting my family. I've tryd figuring it out, but it just made me want 2 scream. Just live life and the answer will come 2 you someday

Sure, if you're curious, and feel comfortable doing so. Kissing/experimenting/doing whatever else with someone of the same sex doesn't make you gay anyway. :)

thespikedturtle it is perfectly fine for a person to choose to love who whoever they want to. and expiramenting is sometimes the only way to learn. if your not comfortable with the question, dont answer it.

I think it's an important part of growing up. Some people know their sexuality from day one, they know whether they're straight or bi-sexual or gay. But other are very confused when they realise even though they go out with men, they have sexual feelings towards females and the only way to clear those worries and confusions is to try it. There's nothing wrong with it in my opinion.

I don't believe in experimenting with some things like drugs, sex, etc. We are all curious about things, however, to be experimenting with things that outcomes may be disastrous would not be a good idea, especially if we are young and our hormones are all askew. Please note, that I am referring to the experiment not being right - and I am not judging those who do decide to experiment - just wish they would be cautious about it, that's all.
