I remember visiting this website once...
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
AKB48 variety show "AKBINGO!" New MC made their debut on 28 June 2016, they are Yoshimoto Kogyo\'s comedy duo "Woman Rush Hour" (ウーマンラッシュアワー).
"Woman Rush Hour" (Muramoto Daisuke and Nakagawa Paradise)
Note: Japanese comedy duo "Woman Rush Hour" was formed in 2008 with members Muramoto Daisuke (村本大輔) and Nakagawa Paradise (中川パラダイス), they are the winner of the stand-up comedian competition "THE MANZAI 2013".
I am not familiar with them is this a good choice for MC of AKBingo?
You should watch Geinin 3 episode 2! These guys should be great.
I have no idea who these guys are but they look annoying as hell.
And here I hope it would have been women :(
Anyway I can't wait to see a subbed episode with them
First impression of the pictures is the dude wearing the black suit seems annoying but I don't know..., It's going to be hard for me to accept them as the new MC's but I hope they don't come off as too arrogant or annoying. This is the first time I ever heard of this comedy duo so I hope they do a good job at being the new MC's of the show just like Bad Boys who we're an awesome MC's that made AKBingo one of the funniest and best shows to watch.
They've been in the entertainment industry for a good amount of time now, but they didn't start showing up until they won the contest mentioned in the article. The guy on the left is kind of iffy (he made several of his former partners (at least eight, i think) quit the entertainment industry because of his behaviour) but he's by far the more interesting of the two. The one on the right is the kinder one but in all honesty he wouldn't be standing there if it wasn't for the guy on the left (imo).
I know Akimoto-sensei is always looking for something new to shake things up and that's probably why these two were chosen. I don't know if they're better than Bad Boys but they're different for sure.
I saw WHR in Geinin. Forgot their names, but they're pretty funny. The guy on the left comes across as a creep though (which I think is his chara), but he's the one delivering for the combi. Would've loved to see Jungle Pocket be the MC instead, honestly.
I wouldn't be surprised if the TV rating of this show decrease because of them.I don't feel to like them. I'll be around for the next episodes but if I still don't like them I think it'll the end of Akbingo for me
These guys are funny. Dude in black will tone it down when he is supposed to, so this will be good.
I like the way they make the girls blush. That's cool. I just watched the show, and I saw a very good range of reactions, so ratings should be good if they don't overdue their core routine from one show to the next.
That black suit guy was really good at satire, it'll be more fun to watch them if we can understand what he is talking about :D
I think a lot of people here seem to be passing judgment before even giving them a chance to show their stuff. Bad Boys wasn't all that interesting or reliable right off the bat (and yes I have watched almost every episode since they took over, RAW or subbed). It took a while for the members to understand their style and form a rapport with them too. Both have different styles but it doesn't mean it won't work for sure. IMO, WRH are quite an interesting combi. At least their manzai routines are pretty solid.
I see a comment here suggesting Jungle Pocket? They are pretty much Saito & two other dudes who people can't really remember. He's the only one who is actually funny and worth watching. The other two are no different from extras in his presence. I wouldn't want people like that as MCs, it'll just get tiresome real quickly. One can argue that Kiyoto was also invisible most of the time but when he does do/say something, it goes well. As for the new MCs, Muramoto is definitely the far flashier type so the focus would mostly be on him but Nakagawa is equally as important as a foil to him, providing the necessary balance. Time will tell but so far, they seem to be up to task.
I saw an old video before wherein sone young HKT members were eating together and when Nako made a cute reaction with the meat served, the guy on the right said his new oshi is nako....hehehehehe
hope this dou continue the good 8 year legacy that Badboys left
i was kind of hoping for gekidan hitori or tsuchida teruyuki, but i'm looking forward to seeing this new dynamic that Woman Rush Hour may bring to the show
ah football hour would have been good too.
you haven't given these guys a chance yet you should've seen geinin, who cares anyway it's not like you could watch them and you could make the ratings go up.
That "Shift Leader" thing they did in geinin was not that funny.
where rank doesn't matter, as long as mc love them, they get front seat
i personally love it, it makes member works harder to be noticed
I don't think they'll be as good for the simple reason they are not as considerate as Bad Boys. Muramoto especially is known as a jerk in the industry.
What made Bad Boys so good was they cared about the girls and created good chemistry with them. They made it about the idols, not themselves. WRH don't have that personality. They will only think of themselves first.
I predict they will quit in a year or less when they see ratings aren't high and it's not getting them enough publicity.
bad boys weren't that considerate, they went any girl at anytime and clipped any of them over the head, if these guys are gonna bring em down to earth n take 'em out of their comfort zone... I'm all for it.
Lol seriously? I can't understand people who wants to stop watching a show featuring idols due to a change of MCs. Are you really an idol fan? The fact that the show will mainly focus on the girls will never change. It's the entire point of the show, after all.
"Bad Boys wasn't all that interesting or reliable right off the bat"
I don't know about reliable, but INTERESTING they were. They legit drove a motorcycle on the set of their first appearance on the show and made a MEMBER cry.
