The morning after Kate's father had died, Kate decided to visit his grave all by herself. Her and Humphrey had not yet told their son and daughter, Christie and Dennis, that their grand father had passed away, so Humphrey was in charge of telling them while Kate was away.

While Kate was walking to her dad's grave, she thought to herself, 'Wow, it's been such a terrible год with death, first Tony(he died of old age), then Garth(he died in a hunting accident along with two other wolves) and now Winston'.

Finnaly, she had gotten to her destination, her father's grave. She went a grabbed a цветок with her mouth, and carried it to her father's grave. A tear ran down her cheek as she сказал(-а) several prayers for her dad. Her dad was burried in the same graveyard as TOny and Garth, infact, Winston was only several graves over.

She wondered if Humphrey had already told Dennis and Christie. She wondered if anyone else would die anytime soon. Вопросы like that kept popping into her mind. Thge pain of losing her father was very intense on her, Eve and Lilly.

Kate began to remember memories of her and her father, from the time she was just a pup, to the день before he died. This gave her a headache. It pained her so much she had to go home, so she once again set off for home.

When she got home, she was greeted by Dennis, Christie, and Humphrey. Then she noticed that three other Волки were there too, Lilly and her son Camaron. Eve was there too.

"Mom, I'm so sorry to hear that grandpa died." Dennis сказал(-а) trying not to cry.

"Kate, now that your father has passed away, I can't run the pack by myself anymore, I need Ты and Humphrey to take my place. Hutch already agreed to train Humphrey how to be an alpha wolf." Eve said, somewhat worried.

"Ok then, does Humphrey know?" Kate replied somewhat worried and somewhat excited.

"Don't worry, he knows" Eve replied.

"Ok then" Kate said.

"Well, let's go back inside then Kate." Eve said.

"Ok, I'll be there in a sec." Kate replied.

After Eve went inside, Kate walked to the edge of the cliff and whispered, "Take care dad", and then she walked back inside her den.
