Who sings the songs for the phantom?

Gerard Butler was the actual singer, out of the entire cast the only one who wasn't дана the chance to sing their natural voice was Minnie Driver...but she was дана the chance to sing at least one song for the movie and that was "Learn to be Lonely"

Gerald Butler actually sings. Honestly why would they cast him if he couldn't sing?

Yeah, Gerard sang the part as well. I didn't think he was horrible. Its not like he was tone deaf. No, he wasn't operatic, but Michael Crawford (being the awesome Phantom that he was) wasn't that operatic either. Overall, the movie could have been better, but I thought Gerard did a good job.

Oh yes Gerry did sing that. I'm listening to the soundtrack right Now. Gerry сказал(-а) in an interveiw that he had no Пение ability but he really wanted to do it so he learned on set. I Любовь HIS SINGING!!! his Scottish accent comes out! I think he did an awsome job Актёрское искусство and singing.
*Tear* listening to #13 on the soundtrack when he says "it's over now, the Музыка of the night!". *TEAR* :(
