What is an ecchi anime?

I keep hearing the word 'ecchi' but i honestly don't know what it is, Can anyone tell me what an ecchi Аниме is?

I'm going to be honest here. Half the time, I never noticed the panty shots in Rosario + Vampire (why do people get aroused from panty shots, anyway?).

Ты never noticed them? it kinda gets on my nerves after a little bit but i still watch it. i think the reason people really Любовь the panty hsots is cuz their perverts maybe? или its just being a plain old guy :|

^ Yeah, on my first time watching R+V (which was with subtitles, unfortunately), I didn't notice the panty shots, mostly because looking at a girl's panties doesn't do anything for me. I'm еще for boobs, if anything.

^ oh i get it now. yea if Ты watch it subbed Ты have to look at the subtitles so Ты end up not really looking at the panty shots. but i watch R+V dubbed so i kinda have to look at all that stuff
