My Избранное Аниме guy is strictly L Lawliet from Death Note. I absolutely adore his uniqueness and depth, as a character, and how genius is. As a detective, he can certainly seem cold and selfish, and be cold and selfish, but deep down, L is kindhearted, and just very alone.
