I suggest Log Horizon, it's still airing and Ты can watch it on Crunchyroll. It's a lot like SAO setting wise, but the characters, story, and pretty much everything else make it truly unique.

[pictured] Try Natsume Yuujinchou... it is my all time Избранное anime. But it's not really magic themed, it's еще Сверхъестественное and fantasy. The Анимация is amazing, characters lovable, messages deep, Музыка beautiful and the в общем и целом, общая story line addicting. It has a good mix sad, humor, and action. There are also 4 seasons out so it's an Аниме that Ты can really fall in Любовь with.
