does your parents ever call Аниме that your watching a "cartoon'' and does it make Ты a little mad или do u just ignore it

My mom calls it "Japanese Cartoons" and my dad calls it "Cartoons". Аниме is pretty much Japanese Мультики and cartoons, just with a different name. So I'm not the least bit bothered by it.

No my parents I don't recall them ever saying it. But some jeark at school. he saw me wearing an Аниме T-Shirt. he сказал(-а) Ты still like Мультики your still a baby. I told him Аниме is not a cartoon according to what the Japanese people say. he made fun of me and embarresed me in class. He сказал(-а) I would never like Мультики there for babys. The Далее день he came into class with a Sesame улица, уличный T-shirt on. I сказал(-а) I thought Ты did not like Мультики сказал(-а) they were for babsy. he got mad at me. I told him Your wearing a Sesame улица, уличный рубашка that's a cartoon. he got mad at me. I сказал(-а) iof Ты wanna learn your Abcs count to 123 and learn how to tie your shoes again. Than wear a cartoon PBS Kids baby t-shirt. I like Аниме not baby Мультики like you. If Ты don't like Мультики than don't wear Sesame улица, уличный cartoon shirt. I embarrassed him in class and got back at some guy boy in school class and embarrassed him. he wanted to fight me but I didn't cause I was not about to get into trouble at school.

My mom is always mixing up anime, manga, cartoons, and vocaloids. I got a DVD in the mail from netflix, it was an Аниме I ordered so when my mom went to give it to me she сказал(-а) "one of your Вокалоид came". Since she's obviously not into it или anything, and she really doesn't care that I am, I've basically just дана up on really trying to correct her. In the end I know she doesn't mean any harm by it and it really doesn't matter.

My mom likes Аниме quite much. As for my stepdad he sometimes calls Аниме a "cartoon" which does upset me a little bit but for the most part I just ignored it

My parents don't really give a fuck what I watch but I'm sure they'd approve of me watching tv in Japanese because it helps improve listening comprehension.

LOL whenever I watch Аниме and my mum sees, she doesn't call it Аниме или cartoons, she asks if I'm watching Naruto.
She knows I Любовь Naruto. But she thinks every Аниме is Наруто lmao....

Аниме is just japanese Мультики and I don't see the reason why people so mad about Аниме being a cartoon it's so stupid when people get angry over this stuff really(my opinion through) and who cares if Ты watch it just because Аниме is a cartoon doesn't mean Ты have to stop watching it или get mad over something so stupid because Мультики also teach life lessons as well, Аниме isn't the only cartoon that does this there are a lot of Мультики that do the same thing as Аниме does, Аниме isn't different at all really it's just a another style of cartoon really but it's doesn't bother me because people at me about what Аниме is I say japanese cartoon because that's just the way it is really though Аниме isn't any different from Мультики and don't listen to people when they say Ты cant watch it just because it is a cartoon.

Yes, they have in the past... and at first, it did annoy me quite a bit... until I realized Аниме technically is a form of Мультики (whether we all like to admit it, или not).
I notice a lot of Аниме Фаны dismiss people (who call Аниме cartoons) as ignorant, but ironically, the Аниме Фаны themselves are the ones being ignorant.
One might argue, "anime can't be Мультики because it's not exclusively for children!"
That statement is untrue, because Мультики aren't exclusively for children, either. They can range greatly in demographics, just like anime.
Another might argue, "anime can't be Мультики because it's not stylized in a western fashion!"
This is also untrue because Мультики aren't exclusive to styles from western countries. As a long as a Показать is drawn или animated, it can be considered a cartoon (regardless of its style или origin).
Even though it annoys me when Фаны claim Аниме is not a form of cartoons, I somewhat sympathize with them. Аниме has evolved into such a unique form of animation, that it's not hard to understand why one would want to separate the two.
Аниме is like a branch (of the дерево that is cartoons) although, it's not just any branch. It has evolved into such an in depth, complex branch that Ты almost want to consider it a separate tree.
Anyway, the way I see it is like this... if people want to call Japanese Анимация "anime", and non-Japanese Анимация "cartoons", that's fine (in fact, I find myself calling the two by separate names, as well).
BUT... they need to be aware of the inevitable truth that Аниме is indeed a form of cartoons.

Kind of :P but mostly i just ignore it,after all its basically "Japanese Cartoons"...although my mom sometimes calls it with its name (anime) and sometimes says cartoons,but for some reason i feel all flustered when she says that to my face after discovering me watching...well,i guess that's a natural instinct since i'm mostly known over here for being "Serious Mc Serious"...but anyway,yeah...i ignore and she eventually leaves me alone...oh,and i don't recall my dad ever calling them either because he's mostly at work,only going Главная on weekends.

Well, I'm one of the people who don't get it why are there so many Аниме Фаны who gets so furious when someone calls Аниме a "cartoon" because like what other people have stated above, Аниме is another form of cartoon and the fact that Аниме is the short word for "animation" and that most Japanese people call everything that is animated as "anime" which that includes western Мультики too, so Ты need to understand that Japanese people are different people and use the word "anime" to refer about Анимация in general while the rest of the world only refer the ones that were made in Japan, but I don't care if Ты disagree with me as long Ты can handle and accept my opinion on this "anime is not a cartoon" Дебаты back which I found it to be dumb and ridiculous in my opinion and view, but I can handle your opinion back even if Ты disagree with me as I know that each people have different opinions, Просмотры and beliefs about something that they like, so I'm fine with that.
