I just recently started watching. I used to think L looked creepy, but he's really grown on me since I've started. Light has had the opposite effect. I thought he looked really cool, but he's starting to creep me out.

L,is my favorite character in DN,especially in the manga..it wasn't the same after he "went"..anyway L-sama is arguably justice,he's a great detective,as well as smart!,Yagami-kun..well the potato chip and eat it line or subs were funny to me,but aside from that and doing what he had done even if it was to rid the world of criminals..I mean not even they deserve to go that way..especially seeing how sly he can be..but I think it showed more to me in the manga..but anyway I prefer L of the two!^^

L is way too over rated... Light had good intentions he just got a little carried away

I really like both of them... Light is so smart and ambitious and a tad crazy xD and I love the eccentric character of L... But if I have to decide, I'll say L takes the cake here ^^
