i think she did use Henry as well, but ounce she got a taste of life as a queen...she started using it to her advantage. bills were beeing paid, every ones eating, the family is at the rite hand of the king and all seemed well. what she did not realize was that she had bit off more then she could chew. once she had Elizabeth in Henry's eyes thats when he begin to cut himself away from her. Anne never thought that another women with no royal value could ever take her place....but why not? if he would dump the queen of england for a women of non royalty, what makes you think he wouldnt get rid of you all just the same?! but if Anne had been royalty Henry would not of been able to have her beheaded. only sent to a nunery maybe and because she was beeing scheduled to have her head removed, she learned her place quickly. she no longer possesed his heart, effection or attention. She actually probably wished she had never met Henry in the end wile sitting in the tower. I know i would wish it.

Really, i think her realtionship with Henry was complicated. She did use his affection for her to rise, but then i think she truly fell in love with him. In the beginning I think everything she did was to earn her fathers love and respect but later it became more than that. She loved her father but she loved Henry and her child more.

I agrre with Nathboleyn, but I read "Mistress Anne" by Carolly Erickson and I learnt that she lived her childhood in her sister's shadow, so she wanted to be famous more than her, but she didn't want to be considerate a whore like her sister. So she tried to use her charm on Henry without seeming a bitch, but people misunderstood her behavior.
