So , many people asked me to give my opinions about Gwen , ive been vague about this episode cause the whole fandom complained about it and i just wanted to stay in my bubble. I dont particularly give much importance to the Показать , just to arwen.

first : I ship Arwen so ill always Любовь BOTH characters , otherwise i should just stop shipping them if i start hating/disliking one of them.

Gwen’s situation is the most heartbreaking one because she doesnt know whats happening to her.

the guilt she is feeling is probably killing her cause she really thinks that she kissed Lancelot , she even tried to find excuses cause , like Arthur , she doesnt understand anything anymore. ” i thought he was dead , i was overwhelmed”

She doesnt feel anything for Lancelot , she loves Arthur with all her сердце , she feel ashamed and almost disgusted of what she has “done” , ruining her future and all her dreams and Arthur’s ones.

“all these years ive waited for Ты ” It reminded me of what Merlin сказал(-а) ” if she feels as Ты , she will wait for you” and she did. She risked her reputation and her own life for a man that she wasnt even sure she could be with , she went against the laws , she fought for Arthur with patience , courage and presence.

6 years. She spend six years loving him , reassuring him , giving him faith and guiding him in his darkest moments and yet , six years later , he says :

” Ты Любовь him , Ты have always loved him , all this time Ты сказал(-а) Ты wanted to be with me ?” that sentence broke my сердце for both of them , Arthur (because of his insecurities and the realization that the woman he always loved may has been a liar ) and Gwen , because all this time she spend loving him, suddenly meant nothing to Arthur’s eyes. As if , for a moment , he was saying to her ” so Ты pretended to Любовь me just for the crown ?” , and for someone as loyal and honest as Gwen , it was нож in the heart.

“i Любовь Ты , Ты mean everything to me” she was tired , she closed her eyes , resigned and it made this sentence even еще powerful. Her entire world just collapsed around her. She finally сказал(-а) it , after all these years , she finally сказал(-а) that she loved him , she broke down in front of him, she cried a river and yet , yet Arthur stared at her , as if he was staring at someone else. He stood still , cold and hurted , trying to contain his anger while she completely opened to him.

and i think thats it. They dont recognize each other anymore , they dont even know who they are anymore.

When Arthur shacked her , he was truly Остаться в живых , he apologized right away , he turned around wondering what was wrong with him and how he could do that to the only woman he ever loved.

Gwen was ashamed of herself , how could she Kiss Lancelot ? how could she betray the only man she ever loved.

and when they look at each other , they realize that : He doesnt see the kind , loyal and noble woman who guided him throught his darkest moments , and she doesnt recognize the caring , loving and self confident man who gave him the strengh she needed. For the first time , they brought the worst of each other and they faced that in the most cold and heartbreaking way.

hence the ” i cant look upon Ты everyday”. They are no longer the Arthur and Gwen from S2 ” the truth is ..you snore” // ” no i do not” // ” yes Ты do !”

the level of trust and respect they had for each other was so high that it makes this betrayal even еще hard to stand.

then there is Lancelot , Elyan and Merlin.

Lancelot killed himself so she must feel even еще guilty cause , in theory , she was the one who started to flirt with him and she may think that she is the one to blame , not him ( omg yeah nkdfsgkjfdg )

Elyan , his own brother , looking at her with disapointment and shame whereas she is on her knees surrounded by all those men who probably just want her dead.

Merlin , her best friend , who didnt even try to talk to her to fully understand what happened and yet , she cant even look at him because of how mad she is at herself .

Arthur is left betrayed and alone. Exactly what he feared when he saw her taking lancelot’s hand 6 years ago.
