An account of my день on set being an extra in Bradley's new film 'Fast Girls' by Noel Clarke



8.00am –Started the день with a breakfast provided by them – бекон, бэкон или sausage in a roll, cornflakes, tea/coffee.

8.30am - Ready for our 10-hour shoot. Then we were taken to the holding area where we were ushered to our seats.

The only complaint (which my daughter went on and on about ALL day) was the fact that we had to keep taking our clothes off. In the email we were told to wear warm clothes because it was cold and yes, it was cold. Then we were informed that the film was set in the Summer of 2011 so we had to pretend it was the height of Summer and very hot, which meant taking our coats, cardigans, hats, gloves off for every shoot. My clothes were on and off еще times than a lady in a bordello LOL! At least we got to meet people on a personal level.

We were lucky, although we were seated three rows in, we were actually at the front of the rows so we were fully in view of the camera at all times. This is when I took opportunity to introduce myself to Noel Clarke (one of the writers). He came out and was standing in the row in front of us then reached over to shake hands with one of a group of young guys sitting behind (who were obviously from a stage school training to go into TV или something). I сказал(-а) “that’s not fair” and thrust my hand out at him, which he grasped and held onto tightly and SMILED AT ME!!! He has a lovely smile and firm handshake, too bad my hands were cold. It was a genuine handshake and smile and totally made my day. That was when my daughter fell in Любовь and had that glazed look in her eyes LOL! She сказал(-а) “mum, I can’t believe Ты did that”. As an aside, I tweeted him a while назад and thanked him for the handshake blah blah blah and he ACTUALLY TWEETED BACK A “THANK YOU, NICE TO MEET Ты TOO”. Well that’s my first claim to fame. But it gets better.

I was dying to go for a wee-wee/the bathroom/the toilet, so after I finished I was on my way back to my сиденье, место, сиденья when I came across Lenora walking down the stairs in the car park. I сказал(-а) “Hello Lenora” and she actually came towards me and сказал(-а) hello!!!! I can’t belileve I didn’t have my camera или phone или pen an paper because it was all in my bag which I had left behind in my seat. She sort of looked at me like maybe I was someone she knew and I thought she was going to start a conversation but like an idiot, I smiled and сказал(-а) “bye”. Oh God, I сказал(-а) bye and walked away, I can’t believe I didn’t seize the opportunity. I don’t watch her in ‘Being Human’ so I couldn’t talk about that and ‘Sugar Rush’, which I loved, was years ago.

She really is quite beautiful, even prettier than she looks on TV. She gave me a lovely smile, so I had acquired two lovely smiles so far, I was on a roll.

My daughter fell in Любовь with Regan Halls, the director, after she had already fallen in Любовь with Noel Clarke of course (the writer). I must admit though, both of them were very attractive in different ways.

I must say they did a good job of keeping us entertained, they made silly jokes and some funny ones too. Silly dances when trying to get our attention, racing round the track for us to follow etc. We did a lot of ‘audience talking amongst ourselves’ and had to do a bit of miming too when they wanted to hear the actors above the crowd.

We then had a free lunch, which was quite nice and it was back to filming.

Later, еще filming, cheering, clapping, shouting, miming. I don’t think I’ll ever shout или clap again.

We were provided with a snack of макаронные изделия, макароны или рис, райс and then back to the final part of filming.

Bradley was announced, like all the others as they came on, and we clapped and waved and сказал(-а) hello. He was in the front row two rows in front, not еще than about 6ft away. At one point, when he was facing the other way, I thought I’d take a ‘discreet’ look at him (LOL! Like many other people) he turned around and caught me looking and I smiled embarrassingly and gave a nod and mouthed ‘hi’ at being caught and he gave one of his Bradley lovely smiles back!! Okay, maybe my looking wasn’t as discreet as I thought. He really looked much better when he smiled.

When Lenora first had to come out and do her part with Bradley, she stood in front of him and became all girly and shy, she was totally a fangirl, fanning her face with her hand and laughing, which made him smile. She had to say “wait a minute” while she giggled and she walked a few steps away and composed herself, then came back for a секунда go.

I must say that Lenora has a lovely stomach, which we saw when took off her fleece халат, одеяние and was wearing her running outfit of those tight short and cropped top. She was being silly too and did a pseudo-seductive dance as she took off the robe. Bradley got to feel her stomach too when she threw herself at him, hugged him tightly around the neck and kissed him passionately LOL! She’s so cheeky, after doing that take she shouted “one еще for Lenora” meaning she wanted to do that bit again, and they let her! LOL We all сказал(-а) “ooohhh” and then laughed when they kissed. I believe he’s supposed to be her boyfriend in the film. The other female actors/athletes had lovely stomachs too, Lily James’s stomach was washboard flat and she too was pretty small.

I’ve mentioned this several times on the Spot, but Bradley really needs to put on some weight. He looked even thinner in the flesh, even wearing a padded jacket. If he looks that thin, what must Colin look like in real life. Bradley also seemed a lot shorter than the other men there, although to be fair, some of them were quite tall. Энджел must be really short though lol.

It was dark by now, even though it was only 4.00pm (UK changed the clocks in October), so we were еще или less doing a night shoot. Floodlights were used to replicate the sun and we had to take our clothes off again brrrrr.

6.00pm – It’s a wrap!
I’m sure I saw some people from Tumblr, as well as people I’ve seen on TV in bit-parts.

In total, I got 3 celebrity smiles, plus many smiles from people we sat Далее to during our many moves, so all in all, it was a smiley день even though it was cold.

And to кепка, колпачок it all, I got Главная in time to watch Merlin, yay!
