I've been there.
"They tend to taste like diabetes, especially the newer ones..." I am SO GLAD they fixed that. I still think Nutcracker is surprisingly non-sugary for the most part, but I'd definitely say such qualities exist, especially in the later movies. Although I really don't get what's "darker and edgier" about FS...
I do like the fact that they put the "tastes like diabetes" trope in YMMV, since it really is a matter of opinion. Not so impressed that they put the part about Mint and Candy being "ensemble darkhorses" there, too, since that really is true in my experience.
The "toyless toyline character" trope is perfect, though.
Yeah, I don't really have a problem with that. Most of the comments are reasonable enough to me.
That said, it's all a matter of opinion. I disagree with some of the things they say on the Tangled page, for instance (specifically the part where they claim Maximus is the only competent member of the Royal Guard).
Though TV Tropes always refer to the shows in a parodic or sarcastic way, I find the site too funny to get angry at it. And yeah, most of the things they say DO make sense.

Though, nice thingie, though not so much...
