I didn't get any feedback on the last section I wrote, but maybe if I continue I will. So here goes:
She's beautiful. I can't believe I forgot her, of all the people. Maybe I didn't forget, Sweets would probably tell me that I didn't, that I still remember her, if only distantly. I think I do remember her. Just looking at her, like now, I feel this pull at the way back of my mind. Booth thought as he looked at the woman before him, the woman who he had been told is his partner, Dr. Temperance Brennan. Temperance Brennan. Beautiful, it fits her. I don't know though, I don't think I'd call her that...
He continued to think to himself as she walked to the chair Далее to his постель, кровати and sat down. She looked terribly tired, as if something had kept her up at night for the few days. He wondered for a moment if he had been that something, but doubted it, seeing as they were only partners.
After a few moments her eyes looked away from him and rested on the television. He looked, too, and watched the rest of the episode, even though he wasn't actually paying attention; the feeling going through him was far too distracting. It was as if his body knew who he was lying Далее to, so it was reacting. He wondered again whether this had always happened, but shook the thought away. The T.V. had pictures of Еда flashing and a man's deep voice played in the background as a commercial started.
"Booth?" сказал(-а) Temperance from behind his back. He rolled over to find her looking at him with a certain air, one he couldn't quite place.
"Yeah?" He felt that there was a word missing from his response, but he shook off the feeling as she replied.
"I was wondering, if maybe, Ты umm.." She looked down as she spoke, as if she was nervous. "I was wondering if Ты had remembered anything, Ты know, since last time."
"Oh. Well, I haven't remembered actual things, but I think I will. When I see Ты I get this feeling, I don't even know how to describe it. But there's something there, I know it."
She looked up at him then, a hopeful look in her eyes. "When are Ты going to be discharged?"
The sudden change of subject startled him, but he went with it. "I'm out of here in three days. I'm really excited about it, too, because they don't have any пудинг here. Not even as a desert option."
Temperance laughed, but it was a sad laugh. "You do like hospital pudding, don't you?"
"Yeah," he сказал(-а) with a smile. "But their pie is okay. I like the pie at the обедающий, закусочной on 22nd better though. I used to go there all the time."
"I...I know. I went with you. We always went after work, after we solved a case. Sometimes we went to Wong-Fu's, but Ты always wanted pie, and the обедающий, закусочной is close to the lab." she сказал(-а) quietly.
