Booth was going over some basic training technics with his squad. He had been assigned a special team of army rangers to help locate and destroy Al Queda cells. Booth read the letter and looked at Bones. He wanted to put his arms around her and to tell her to ignore the letter but he wasn’t sure why she was crying.
Bones: “Does that letter mean what I think it means.”
Booth: “Bones it seems so wrong that why now after all this time.”

As soon as they arrived in Chicago, Angela and Brennan drove their rental car over to visit Mr. Schneider. They were greeted at the door by a rotund older man who was grinning from ear to ear upon seeing Brennan.

As she never bothered to attend the last two reunions she knew of no reason to attend this one.
