Roughly how much have Ты spent on other people's Рождество presents?

WHAAAT? Most of the world is in recession, though that may или may not our cheer and giving. So~ do we compete here to see who has spent еще and loves people еще или buys for еще people which can cost еще или to see who is wiser with money and does better making it stretch: Frugality vs. Greed.

As an adult, and from a rather prosperious upbringing- I would not be comfortable discussing this no matter how much I spent giving... или how little I had to speak in my personal monetary means in gifts. (And Рождество to me is about more-giving in other ways, too).

I think this Вопрос is in poor taste.

This год not so much:
1. I don't have that much $.
2. I buy for the kids not many adults. Fewer kids this year.
3. I buy gifts for those who are local - postage these days cost еще than the gift.
