My family are massive Дисней Фаны and we recently embarked on a marathon of the Дисней canon. We're currently as far as The Three Caballeros and here is my review of the first animated classic (I'm also posting these reviews on my blog disneydad2.blogspot.com).


A Дисней Tale: A young princess narrowly avoids death on the command of her evil stepmother. She shacks up with a group of mining dwarves but the stepmother finds her and puts her to sleep with a poisoned apple. The dwarves put her inside a glass coffin until a prince comes and kisses her, releasing her from the spell to live happily...

Ah, the Вопрос that everyone who has stumbled upon this spot has surely asked themselves. It's been asked in Опрос form multiple times. There have been many discussions on the subject.

The spot Слоган defines a Дисней Classic as "anything before the Pixar era", making the cutoff 1996, when Toy Story premiered.

Most of the picks/polls about the subject have Pocahontas (1995) или Tarzan (1998) in the lead.

Some Фаны believe that only the films on the official Список of Дисней Animated Classics are true classics.

Truth is, there is no definite answer, because a Дисней Classic means something different...
