Kiki sighed and plopped down onto a beanbag chair. Having to watch Minerva and Val was hard and exhausting. She started to doze off...that is, until something tapped her and shot up.
"HOLYRAINBOWUNICORN!" she shrieked. She put on her glasses and saw both girls standing around her.
"We can't sleep." Minerva said.
Kiki stretched and stood up.
"Look. I checked under the bed, in the closet, gave Ты a glass of water, and put the child locks up on the windows. What else do Ты need?"
"A bedtime story!" Val said, handing her a book.
"It's not the 'Rainbow Monkey's Perfectest Picnic Ever', is it?" she asked.
"Nuh-uh. It's Minerva's new book."
"Really? What's the title?"
"Twilight."
Kiki got a WTF look on her face, then calmly went to the window and defenestrated the book.
"HEY!!!" she yelled.
"Dude. I just saved Ты from the horror of sparkly vampires. Besides, I have a BETTER story."
Val whooped and ran to their temporary bedroom. She jumped on the bed, all excited. Minerva sulked and layed down on her bed.
"This is about how a girl, a werewolf, and a bunch of other creepy creatures that helped saved the world from sparkly vamps...." Kiki started.
Minerva scoffed, "Oh, HERE we go...."

The Actual Story! (Finally)

It was a gloomy день in good ol' Transylvania County, North Carolina (That's an actual place! Can Ты believe it? And I know that "Twilight" takes place in Washington, but this is much better. That, and the regular Transylvania is just too much of a cliche). Kuki Swanban, the new girl in town, was waiting for the school bus. She fiddled with her "Super Spooky" радуга Monkey keychain when a voice behind her said: "You have one of those keychains, too?"
She jumped and turned around. Standing there was a girl...with whiskers?
"Ummmmmm....hi?" Kuki said, nervously. "Um....I hate to be rude, but do Ты know that you-"
"Whiskers? Yeah. My parents сказал(-а) it's part of becoming a adolescent."
Kuki looked at the other kids across the street, who looked normal. She turned back to the girl.
"I'm Kuki Swanban." she said.
"I'm Abigail Black. Ты can call me Abby."
Kuki smiled. For a few minutes, no one сказал(-а) anything.
"New kid?" Abby asked.
"How can Ты tell?" Kuki asked.
"Ummm...just a guess." Abby сказал(-а) nervously. "Listen, I'll let Ты in on this now: School's gonna be- SQUIRREL!!!"
Abby rushed after the squirrel, barking happily.
Kuki started to say something, but was cut off by the roar of the bus.

After she got to school, Kuki wandered aimlessly looking for her first period class. On the way there, she noticed that some of the students didn't look quite "right". Some students had long cainine teeth, some students looked like they had horns coming out of their heads, and some even had tails. She snapped out of her trance when she heard the колокол, колокольчик, белл ring and ran to her class.
When she entered the classroom, everyone turned their heads in her direction (don't Ты hate that feeling?). She blushed, kind of embarrased.
"You must be Ms. Swanban." The teacher said.
"Yeah....." she answered
"Well, I'll let Ты off with a warning. The Далее time you're late, I'll give Ты a detention. Understand?"
Kuki sighed. This teacher definetly had a pole up his butt.
"Yes, sir."
"Good. I guess, for now, we can put Ты Далее to Eddy Beetles. Eddy? Raise your hand."
She went where she was told.
"Alright, class," the teacher said, "Today, we're going to learn about...."
The teacher's voice trailed off as Kuki stared at her partner. From what she could tell, Eddy was short, pretty pale and had sharp teeth, green eyes, and whitish-blonde hair. He looked over in her direction.
"You like me, don't you?"
Her face turned bright red.
"How'd you- I mean-"
Eddy put a finger to her lips.
"Let's just say I'm a bit of a mind-reader." He winked at her, and went back to doodling.
Kuki smiled and let out a fangirl-like squeal. Unfortuantly, she сказал(-а) it out loud rather than in her head.
Everyone looked at her with a weird look. The teacher cleared his throat.
"Ms. Swanban, are Ты finding this interesting или are Ты trying to disrupt my class?" he asked, rather crossly
Kuki blushed.
"Um.....I'm finding this real interesting, sir."
One of the kids in the back yelled out "NERD!". Eddy shot the kid a look, and he immediatly shut up.
She looked at her partner, who looked back at her and winked.
Kuki smiled back and sighed happily. Turns out being the new kid wouldn't be so bad.....
