Chapter 2: Searching

    Mac had the full police department in Princeton out searching everywhere for Stella and Lisa. Many people who were at the hotel where they had been attacked at were questioned but no one had any information that would help in the search. Mac was starting to get very frustrated and worried....

As Stella walked in Mac looked at her and felt his сердце skip a beat. She was wearing a black dress with a plunging neck line and her hair was up in a beautiful French braid. Her eyes were piercingly beautiful as she looked at him and smiled.

"Are Ты ready to go to the fundraiser?" she asked as Mac finally gathered his thoughts and his breathing pattern.
The annual Рождество Fundraiser was tonight. It was like a banquet, just less fun and еще irritating because it wasn't optional.
