Dair in Breakfast at Tiffany's
Recently I've become again еще and еще obsessed with Dan and Blair, which is a sign that I just want to procrastinate instead of study for exams, but it still is, unhealthy as it sounds, a real concern my brain cannot get rid of. When I don't like an ending I make up one of my own to satisfy the crazy urges of my mind, and I have made up such an ending to fulfill my Dair ship, but before that, I wanted to post about something, I don't know how many others have discussed before, if any, that is Breakfast at Tiffanny's.
That's Blair's Избранное movie out of every other movie and she sees herself as Holly, played by Audrey Hepburn. I can't help but think that the story is so in line with her story with Dan, and at least one of the writers who shipped the two must have thought about it.
падуб, holly, холли has an ex husband Doc who is in denial about the end of their relationship (reminds me of Chuck), and she also wants to marry either a rich Brazilian или a rich American (Blair wanted to marry the Prince of Monaco and before that Marcus who was an English lord). But the main Любовь is Holly's Любовь for Paul, a writer, who becomes published, falls in Любовь with падуб, holly, холли and is betrayed by her every-time she wants to go back to her ex или marry up some rich dude to make true her aspirations to become rich (Blair was rich but wanted a Название или to be a princess). падуб, holly, холли chooses Paul in the end, the poor writer who loved her not in spite of who she was but because of who she was. And they find the cat. The end.
Blair and Dan's story was just like Breakfast at Tiffany's, her Избранное film. If that's not the best ending, stylistically speaking, I don't know what is. I'm kind of annoyed that they didn't make her dream that dream and end up with Dan in the end. Dan is Paul. Period. Not Chuck.
What do I do to cope with the fact that a great Любовь story was written inside of a bigger crappy story with a crappy ending, because some writers just know nothing about character development and write in a soap-opera fashion? I make up my own ending (I don't write fanfiction, because if I go there, I'm not coming back), but I do imagine my own ending, and I find myself scratching that itch, and feeling ok with it.
So stay with me here:
Everything happening from Episode 5.22 and so on including season 6, was all in Serena's head. She's been Письмо this story, as soon as she realized that Blair and Dan had a great relationship, and she would never be able to be back with Dan, или even be real Друзья with Blair again. She writes a story about how Bart бас, бас-гитара was faking his own death (dumb, right), which would make Blair go back to scheming to help Chuck, and forget Dan. She imagines this absolutely weird story of how Gossip Girl was a Любовь letter to her by Dan, which to her made sense, because she loved being the IT Girl. She came up with this idea of how to break Dan and Blair up, and make Dan realize he was still in Любовь with Serena (which let's face it, he hadn't loved in a long time, because Serena is messed up).
So to sum up, stay with me guys. 5,22, 23, 24 and season 6 1-10 are all telling the story in Serena's new book (And let's face it, Serena is not as good a writer as Dan).
And what about our lovely couple Blair and Dan? They don't mind Serena's book. They haven't met Serena in a long time, because Blair has finally discovered herself like Dan encouraged her to, and she's finally out of Serena's, Chuck's and Nate's shadow. And what is she doing? She's become The Dictator of Taste she always wanted to be, running Waldorf Magazine, a magazine rivaling Vogue and Elle dictating what's fashionable, and what is of taste. Lonely Boy, not so lonely anymore, is a modern день Fitzgerald, Письмо about modern Manhattan and all its idiosyncrasies, having a critical look on modern New York. They live together, and host together many fashionable parties, или successful salons, where their new intellectual friends, and who's big and important in New York, come to discuss art, literature, fashion, music, politics, etc.
And as for Queen B's scheming needs? She's used her evil powers for good, making her magazine one of the most important fashion magazines in the US, making Anna Wintour go out of biz. (I like B's style she should be the new Anna. Long live the new Queen)
That felt good. Imagination is truly the most powerful anti-stress medication.
So what do Ты guys think. Listen to me. I'm not making this up. That's what really happened. I've been in one of these salons, and Blair told me herself that they care about poor Serena so they don't like to brag about their relationship. (Serena could go crazy). So Blair told me to keep it a secret and if I had to tell the story, I should tell it as if it was my own imagination. But I can't keep it any longer.

"Looks like our IT girl isn't as sane as she used to be. She made up the whole story in her new pretend biography. Apparently Lonely Boy and Queen B are still together and enjoying their strong relationship. Be careful S, just because Ты wrote a book, doesn't mean you're a writer. Leave the Письмо to the writers.
