I think she liked and respected Doggett, and he was defiantly a friend of hers, but obviously loved Mulder because that is who she ends up with in the end.

OMIIIGOOOOD! I sure HOPE she doesnt fall in love with Doggett! But its sooo obvious! So wat? They have one character come on the show for 7yrs, and then they bring up some hobo off the street and makes her fall in love with him!? Tht would be a waste of a terrific show! and tht just wouldnt make any sense. And even if they would do tht, then why even bother with the first person for 7yrs anyways!? And besides! Have u herd the words tht come out of Doggetts mouth!? "You assigned me to the X-Files so find agent Muldah, and thats exactly what i did." Who puts an 'H'h at the end of Mulder!? Duh! No one!
