Teen звезда Demi Lovato considers herself as a 'poor role model' because she faced many personal problems when she was younger.

The 18-year-old singer-actress, who entered rehab last November for three months to receive treatment for her eating disorders and self-harming, admits being upset when young girls tell her that she was an inspiration to them because she knew her true life was different, reported Femalefirst.

“Kids used to tell me, 'You're my role model.' And I'd want to shake them and be like, 'Whyyyyyy?'” сказал(-а) Lovato.

However, Lovato now feels that after undergoing treatments, she has evolved into a better person.

“I finally feel like I can inspire people. I can be proud of it,” she added.

Lovato, who shot to limelight playing the lead role in Дисней Показать 'Sonny with a Chance', feels that her honesty about her personal problems will give her Фаны the courage to seek help for any difficulties they may have.
