Декстер Anyone else disappointed in S2 Ep9?

Maybe a week is too long and I built up too much anticipation, but I was disappointed in this episode. Can't pinpoint why, just thought something was missing.

I dont think episode 9 could come to any comparison with episode 8. Although, I thought the Dexter and Doakes "show down" was pretty cool.

Episode 8 was great. That's the problem with this show, it's so GOOD that it can't possibly keep topping itself. I've never loved to hate characters (like Doakes, Lila, Paul, etc) so much!

I find all episodes to be consistently good, never been disappointed.
