I figured everyone else is doing it, so...here are mine! Sorry about the pictures. :(

9. Pocahontas

I just have no connection to her. She's a little dull, she's a hypocrite, and I have no special connection to her movie. I don't even find her that pretty.

8. Cinderella

I Любовь her! she's fabulous, but I like the others slightly better

7. Aurora

I've always really liked Aurora. Most people on this site claim she has no personality, mostly because of the amount of screentime she was given, but I think she has a fabulous personality! She's a dreamy, romantic-type girl, and I Любовь her. :)

6. Belle

Poor Belle. She used to be my favorite. Then I got obsessed with Aladdin, so she moved to #2. Then to #3 when The Princess and the Frog came out. Then I started typing out this list, and decided to put Ariel and Мулан above her, so that put her at #5. And just when I think I'm finally done moving Belle around, I rewatch Snow White and put HER in the вверх five, putting Belle in sixth. Sorry!

5. Ariel

Used to be in fifth, moved to third, and then back to fifth. Sorry, kid.

4. Tiana

Poor Tiana moved down. She used to be my секунда favorite, but then i moved her down slightly when I saw she was up so high because I liked the movie so much. I still Любовь her, though.

3. Snow White

Yay! Yay, Snow White! This girl deserves some еще Любовь on Fanpop. I recently rewatched her movie, and was surprised by how much I liked her.

2. Mulan

Fantastic! Любовь her. Can't say anything bad about her.

1. Jasmine

I bet Ты are all so surprised! Аладдин is my all-time Избранное movie, and I Любовь Jasmine. She has an importance to me, I can relate to her because our personalities are similar. I think she's gorgeous and the most independent.

I don't dislike Rapunzel as much I used to but i don't like her either. First of all,It really annoys me that everybody loves her when they meet her. Jane wouldn't dislike Snow White, but she wouldn't care for her because Snow has no ambitions, interests, или hobbies like Jane does. Her personality is too-housewiveish and she's too young and naive, and she wouldn't like that she sits around and waits for her prince.

Why Do We View the Classics As Weak Willed Floozies?

Ты hear it all the time. Snow White is dumb, Золушка is weak, Aurora is boring. These vague, sweeping generalizations that are constantly applied to the Classic Princesses. I rarely hear these claims for other Pre-Renaissance heroines. Would any one call Alice boring? или Marian weak? или Anita dumb? Why do we normally aim these accusations at the princesses?

Perhaps it's because we've been raised in a different era. An era that scorns femininity and regularly throws terms like slut and floozy at any girl that steps outside our narrow ideals of what a woman should be? Isn't that terrifyingly...
