There are two things I enjoy doing on the internet: participating in Дисней Princess games and conversation, and judging celebrities' clothes on People.com. I don't know, call it a shallow amusement. I'm not a fashion guru, and my everyday attire is what Clinton and Kelly would call an abhorrence, but it's just so damn FUN. With that said, here are my Избранное (and least favorite) Дисней Princess Wardrobes.



10) Pocahontas
Ol' Pokie is purely here by default. She only has one outfit, and because of who she is and the way she lives, it's not really MEANT to be much of a fashion statement. It's functionable, fits her really well, and makes her shape look incredible, and that's what matters for her. I know she had еще of an expanded wardrobe in the sequel, but I'm going purely off of the original movies, and in this case, Pocahontas' clothes don't really matter so much.



9) Snow White
As someone who owned (and wore out) a poofy, itchy Snow White dress as a little girl, I'm surprised Snow White ended up so far down the list. As far as outfits go, she has two (her brown rags and her color-block dress), only one of which counts as a fashion statement. As much as I liked (and still like) the primary Цвета and the pretty shape of the skirt, it's a little juvenile, but why shouldn't it be? Snow White hasn't even gone through puberty yet, so it's just as well that she looks like a little girl. Age appropriate? Yes. Snazzy? Probably not.



8) Aurora
Woah, Aurora lovers. Hear me out. I Любовь Aurora's peasant dress. I mean, Любовь it. It's wonderful. And I Любовь her плащ she wears over it. The sole reason that Aurora is so catastrophically low on the Список is because of that gaudy, pink/blue dress. Even as a child, I hated that dress, particularly when it's pink. I hate the shape, I hate the color options, I hate the weird little points on the shoulders. Forget the choice of making it розовый или blue; just make it disappear.



7) Ariel
Poor Ariel. She's my Избранное princess ever, and she got the worst clothes in Дисней history. The worst abomination is the blue dress with the bow (a BOW for Heaven's sake), and then she got that terrible, awkward розовый gown, plus a розовый nightgown that is really the least of her worries. I can't imagine why the animators thought that she would look best in pink, with that shock of bright read hair. Ariel's only real saving grace is the sparkly purple dress she rises out of the water in. Boy, humans fail at clothes. She just let King Triton Дизайн her gowns from here on out.



6) Rapunzel
I know that Rapunzel's wardrobe is kind of limited, but I fell in Любовь with the purple dress she wears as soon as I saw it. Purple is without a doubt my Избранное color, and I Любовь that the CGI allows us to see that not only is it purple, but the fabric is silky and the dress is full of pale розовый ribbons. Immensely detailed and soft-looking, Rapunzel's dress pushes her style lightyears ahead of the Назад princesses mentioned on this list.



5) Mulan
As much as I am generally apathetic toward one, the girl knows how to tie together a colorful ensemble. She's дана four different outfits, and all of them are unique and hold their own in the story. I like how she starts the movie all dolled up in the pink, brightly colored bride's dress and by the end has settled into blues and teals, which suit her personality. She literally seems еще comfortable in them, Показ that clothing truly has to be rocked to be stylish.



4) Cinderella
Ah, yes. The undisputed classic. Золушка has four gowns, form her rags to her wedding gown, and they all just work. Even her servant dress is prim and polished, making Золушка kind of the Audrey Hepburn of Дисней Princesses. Of course, her розовый dress is nice (if a bit frilly) and her ball платье, бальное платье is the epitome of glamor, but even her wedding dress works nicely. Anything can work if it's pretty and clean, and of course, a good pair of pretty but impractical shoes will improve any outfit.



3) Tiana
Disney's latest Princess not only has a snazzy wardrobe, she has a HUGE one. Tiana rocks no less than 9 outfits through the movie (which is a lot, when Ты think about it,) not counting the dress she wore as a little girl. While I'm not such a Фан of her lily pad dress, I definitely give it Благодарности for creativity, and the rest of her outfits are cool as well, ranging from pretty and practical to luxurious glamor. Give her a little credit, though: a girl who works hard must Магазин hard too.



2) Jasmine
жасмин is the only princess whose look is effortless. It's sexy, it's comfortable, it's glamorous, but so what? She looks like she just threw it on and tied her hair up, just like Ты and I would if we were just running to the grocery store. But she works it. Damn. That girl can rock some MC Hammer pants. Her outfits are unique, sexy, and could be fashionable. (Can't Ты all imagine Kim Kardashian working Jasmine's red outfit? I can.) :)



1) Belle
Oh I Любовь it. Belle has the best clothes of any Дисней princess ever, from start to finish. The blue dress she wears in the opening looks light and pretty and comfortable, the розовый and green dresses she wears in the palace are stunning, the плащ is beautiful, and that Золото платье, бальное платье is nothing short of breathtaking. And, like Jasmine, Belle always looks natural and effortless, like if she were around today, she'd be in a Beatles T-shirt and jeans. Confidence and a low-key attitude rocks anything, and Belle has all that, PLUS a great wardrobe.
