Who's singing voice do you choose? Jasmine?

So, this song has been covered by a few artists, like Lucy Hale by turning it into a country version. Then, another Дисней звезда sang it, it is none other than Lea Salonga herself! Are Ты ready for a battle between Team Salonga and Team Menzel? Here we go!

Idina Menzel

While I enjoy her version, she's a bit pitchy in certain parts. Although at some parts she's very emotional and I like that, because she's very ominous like Elsa and I'm glad that I like her version.

Lea Salonga

Many of Ты know that she was the Пение voice of Мулан and Jasmine, when I heard her version. I thought that she sounds even better than Idina! I would not actually mind her voicing Elsa anyway.
But I guess that they don't want Elsa to sound like жасмин and Mulan!

Conclusion

While both of them are good singers, I would say that Lea is the best singer out of these two!

Since it isn't so much left until Рождество I decided to write a few Статьи here on that theme, not sure how many I'll do, but here's the first one. Ты may not remember this song, but link in case Ты haven't heard the song. Anyway originally the song had the 6 first Дисней Princesses Пение the song, but I decided to redo the song a bit by adding 6 new princesses and their parts has new lyrics. What I will write will be similar to what I wrote on the last article. Most of my opinions are the same except for Aladdin. I wanted to write an updated Статья because I finally rewatched Aladdin. Please no rude comments. Enjoy!

12. Brave- I despise this movie I really don't like Merida. While she may be a strong I think she is just rude and annoying. The film is so forgettable. I haven't seen the film in about 4 years and I don't plan on seeing it again.

Inspired by link, who did an amazing job(! <3), I really wanted to do my own version with Избранное Openings. I actually really Любовь the original fairy tale concept of the Дисней Princesses and I Любовь the openings that give a еще magical and fairy tale kind of feel. (By the way, I am primarily trying to stick to the first 2-4 minutes.) So here is my ranking of the DP film openings, I hope Ты guys enjoy this light read! :D

I personally found this to be uninteresting and irrelevant to the film's magic, fairy tale and princesses (mostly) in the film. No explanation...

Here's my quick top10 избранное of Дисней Princess movie songs. I get stuck to a new tune или lyrics far easily, if its hummable and peppy especially. I like listening to songs and don't have particular fixed tastes in genres. Though i find, i tend to gravitate towards pop, rock and Indian music. Very rarely I enjoy classical music, although some that I Любовь become my all time избранное and they don't die-out. I guess that's how classic Музыка is. Anyways, this is my current Список of вверх 10 favrorites songs from DP movies, it keeps changing for sure as I Переместить onto newer songs.

The Classics (& Such DPs) Are Unrealistic....

.... или Are They? I keep hearing this massive distortion that Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and sometimes others are "unrealistically perfect". Well first of all, they're not actually "perfect" but yes they strive for it and come pretty close. The number one reason? The earlier DPs were made in a time where families were still valued as well as good morals and they were on their best behavior in front of children, hoping that the kids would learn to embrace positive traits and reject negative traits so they would be еще positive people. They cared еще about well-roundedness, being modest...

Merida: A character review in her defense

Okay, so I have come across a lot of criticism against Merida that she is childish, rude, reckless, selfish and what not. But since she's my 2nd Избранное princess, i'd like to put up a case in her favor for people to consider and see her in better light. I have tried to dissect the movie scenes, probed into possible perspective on various minor details that may have been overlooked.

Why she isn't sophisticated as others:
She no doubt loves both her mother and father, but Merida takes off a part of feisty, loud and unapologetically honest side from her father. She loves to fight with him, laughing...

The saddest moments from DP Фильмы that made me cry and most often they still do. Some are close to сердце while some are so well enacted and animated that i'm moved by the simplicity of emotions.

13. 3 good Феи put the entire kingdom to sleep:
Despite their best of efforts, they lose Aurora to the spell and the only way to make things work is to put the entire kingdom to sleep, waking only when she awakens. It makes me sad to see them blame themselves for this loss. It doesn't make me cry though, but yes, it puts me in a sad mood.

I got this idea when I learned that at one point, Дисней actually was using some of the princesses in cause advertisements and it got me thinking: If each of the Дисней Princesses wanted to select a cause/charity to contribute to, which would it be?

Snow White- Senior Citizens: Snow White ends up homeless after running away from the evil Queen and she was fortunate that the 7 dwarfs took her in. This is why I think she would want to help senior citizens the way she did for the dwarfs and the way that they helped her (although they were not senior, they were getting close).

My Version of "Prettiest Princess" Ranking

So I've been Чтение that the "Prettiest Princess" ranking is sort of like a right of passage Статья that all of the Фаны here on Fanpop do so I figured it was time for my own. Instead of just doing a physical beauty ranking, I wanted to do an в общем и целом, общая beauty ranking instead. I personally see ranking women based only on their physical beauty as objectifying them so I am kind of confused that it's not looked at that way here on fanpop? (Not saying this to judge или condone others but just out of genuine curiosity and confusion considering the way some Фаны have reacted to perceived objectification...

I'm talking about character stylization in the sense that when the artist is also the Автор of the character's personality and has written out their every thought in simply the way they are designed. This can also be called "interpreted art" as anyone can perceive it differently, but a common factor still remains that everyone agrees on.
