I certainly haven't made the right decisions at that age for some guy. Of course in TLM, it's exagerrated but I can say I was somewhat like her back then.

nope I obeyed my Parents and did what I was told. My life mostly consisted of working,doing good in school, and reading at home.....I was a good girl and did not care that much about guys.

^ I'm 16 and I go out having fun, my parents are understanding (well the blood relate one is) I never get into arguments with my farther figure though all though it seems like he is pushing my buttons to see if he can get anything out of me. I am soo not having children unless I find a father who will look after them :L rant over. Plus in the UK you are forced to grow up faster as you leave school at 16 go to sixth form till your 18 university maybe when your 18-21 then get on with life.. everyone stopped playing with dolls at like 9 or 10 :(

I am still not 16. At one point of my life.... I don't think so.

I am 16. I can relate to her for the reason that her father/parents didn't understand her and listen to her but I don't think I'd give my voice for a tail to a seawitch and treat my friends badly. I think I also tend to be interested in things that most aren't. Like Ariel was interested in human stuff. I am a bit rebellious usually for my own bad but I'm not as rebellious as Ariel. I obey my parents quite a lot.
I don't think I'm as selfish and rebellious as Ariel (at least I hope I'm not).
It surprises me that most here are talking about "guys". That wasn't a trait of Ariel at all. She wasn't interested in guys till she found Eric.

I originally voted Nope because I have honestly never really related to her. As a teen I identified a lot with Cinderella when I got into the disney fandom.

Buuut in retrospect and with a lot more self-awareness, we do have some things in common. I had some ideas that seem cringy looking back like how some people think Ariel's are, I was impulsive, I actually got into some ugly arguments with my dad too (although for totally different reasons, and otherwise we were close).
