I didn't know about her until June last year, when I read that she was cast as Elsa

Yes, actually. Mostly because I love Idina and I don't really like Elsa, and I wouldn't want someone as talented as her to be known as someone like Elsa.

Well, both yes and no to be honest. Some people who don't care for her other works and things of that nature, but like Elsa are fine. It doesn't bother me in the slightest. It can be annoying when on tv/papers/reviews people say "famous for playing Elsa" and ignore her other roles though

The only thing that bothers me is that some of the public, not all, think that Elsa and Frozen was her only big achievement in her career. They should give her a lot more credit than just being Elsa.

I don't really care what she's famous for. Her achievements are her achievements. The Adele Dazeem comment was rather bad, though.

It doesn't really matter what other people think, don't get so easily annoyed. But it is annoying when they think that's all she's good for.

Yes. It doesn't annoy me that people found out about her after Frozen, it annoys me that people know her only for Frozen. I didn't know who she was before Frozen either but now I know a lot about her, and not just that she is Elsa.

Yes. People have forgotten the fact that she played Elphaba, the fact that she was already a Disney Queen before Frozen. The fact that people only know her for Frozen. That's like saying you only know Tom Hiddleston for his role as Loki.

Her career is more than an Ice Queen. She's one of Broadway's biggest hits, and has a powerful voice.
