Диснеевские принцессы (for my Fanpop's Избранное DP's article) Please Комментарий with a strong opinion Ты have on Aurora (ONLY IF Ты HAVE A STRONG negative/positive OPINION!)
She is my third favorite Disney Princess! She is the most interesting to watch, I think. I do not think she is a Mary-Sue or uninteresting character, all of her actions throughout the movie interest me.
I adore her! She's so interesting to watch. I think with her less amount of screen time she has more personality than a lot of characters today. I relate to her but I also admire her responsible, unselfish attitude. She's one of the few characters who is allowed to stay shy and not become outgoing, and one of the only Disney heroines who is not rebellious but chooses to do what her elders say, which I love.
I think she's super interesting! She has one of my favorite qualities... playfulness. I love watching her sing and dance with the animals in the forest. I also love when Philip says, "Of course, you said so yourself, once upon a dream," and Aurora sticks her chin up and walks away. I love how she acts like that.
I find Aurora so enchanting. She's elegant, playful, dreamy, and very mysterious because of her lack of screen time. I've already dissected her personality more in my article, so I won't repeat myself too much.
But I will say that I also think Aurora is very relatable. There are so many people out there with shy tendencies who want to be outgoing, so many hopeless romantics, so many people who have to give up their dream (love, in Aurora's case) in order to do what's right. I think there's a little bit of Aurora in most of us, even if she does seem like a flat plot device at first glance. I, at least, see much of myself in her, which is probably part of the reason why I love her so much. ;)
I think she's really interesting to watch and although lot's of people say she has no personality, I feel she does and it's one of my favourite DP personalities.
I agree that Aurora is relatable, and I think most people are way too hard on her. She is, after all, not really the heroine of the movie, that is the job of the three fairies. Aurora is more or less a living McGuffin, everyone in the movie either wants to protect or destroy her. She could have a little bit more screen time (it would be nice to know why she accepts going back to the caste...it could be obedience, but I always thought it was because she is very aware of her responsibilities), but all in all, I like her. She certainly does have personality.
