I actually don't think having an overweight DP is such a good idea because DPs are supposed to be role models. However, I do think that Disney should refrain from making DPs (and all other characters) stick thin, with occasional exceptions as some people happen to naturally have that sort of frame without also possessing an eating disorder.

Disney should not inspire girls (or guys) to be overweight or underweight.

I'd really like to see both. I feel like there's not much representation of LGBTQ+ or over-sized characters in animation, and it'd be really important if Disney included these characters in their movies, especially since Disney is very popular. A lot of kids watch Disney movies, and if they were to see these types of characters in the movies, they would be more inclusive of others and learn that there are different types of love and body shapes. Some kids may even relate to these characters, which is also really important.

What's wrong with overweight princess? I never want to see LGBT princess, as I am in contra side about it, I still can't accept it.

Honestly, both need to be done. And Disney is fiddling with the LGBT princess type with Elsa.

I think the better word would be ''plus size''.

Both would be good, and I'd rather Elsa /not/ be in a relationship, gay or straight, but I would like a lesbian or bi princess.

I only chose this so I can explain my actual opinion, which is closer to this option:

I don't believe an overweight princess is necassary, or quite frankly, that having an overweight princess is a positive decision to make. This may encourage and normalize obesity, when it is in reality a very unhealthy physical state. However, in that same light, being underweight, unless it is your natural healthy physical size is also very unhealthy, and Disney should try to refrain from normalizing certain unhealthy sizes. Some DP's have that average sort of skinny look (see Merida), but realistically speaking, many have waists much smaller than many girls' natural size. So to try to make my point a bit more coherent, I know many healthy sized people who may be skinny or curvy but do not have perfectly flat stomachs or perfectly toned arms. Disney should try to aim at that, a princess who reflects that sort of look whether she is chubbier or skinnier.

The disney princess movies typically take place in the times when being overweight wasn't very common. I don't see how they could make an overweight princess unless it was in more modern times like Tiana was. I'm not trying to argue against the idea, I'm just pointing that out.

Eh, back in the day being overweight was considered beautiful. and regardless, the point of "disney and unhealthy figures" falls moot when they add to the line girls very skinny as Ariel and Jasmine. If they can enter, I'm sure a fat princess can too.

(personally i just want more slightly fit/average/plump figures, not super skinny but not fat either. Merida is a good balance imo).
