Pocahontas: I'm on the fence with this one. I thought by basing it on history, Disney really limited themselves. They could've just done it on a random native american and white guy. But then it wouldn't be Pocahontas, would it? Anyway, I thought the film tried to hard to be meaningful, it lacked humor and the usual Disney spark, it was too boring for kids and too dull for adults.

The Princess and the Frog: Wooh, does this film piss me off. It really limits itself as well. It's set in waaaaay too modern times, taking off the fantasy edge of it. It didn't feel very Disney to me at all either, more 20th century fox. The characters lacked development, there was a lot of loopholes, things weren't explained until the middle or the end of the film, the romance came out of nowhere, and there were too many racial limitations. They could've avoided a lot of problems by not having it set in New Orleans. They should've set it in a fictional town. Why have a real town, and then have the Prince come from a fake country? It doesn't make sense. The film lacks consistency.

Sleeping Beauty: The film was boring for most of it, Aurora lacked character (although for the way they portrayed the story she doesn't really NEED character), and all in all, it's just a dull film with lackluster songs. Very sweet and pretty, but all together forgettable. I wouldn't want them to modernize it and make Aurora the hero, though. I just think that maybe Sleeping Beauty is a bad story to try to make into a movie. It's fairly straightforward, there's no plot twists or turns, no surprises...I just found it very predictable.

I had to really think on this one...I really don't think I would want to remake any of them. They are all special and dear to my heart.

I agree with princesslullaby about Princess and The Frog. I was confused when I heard that Naveen was from Maldonia. I thought: "Sould I know where this place is?" It took a while till I realized that Maldonia was a fake country.

But if I had to, then I agree with everything Princesslullaby said (not sure about PatF yet)

Yup,Beauty And The Beast and Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs....I would change Belle's and Snow White's look and also Snow White's voice!

Well, I wouldn't change them for anything, because even if I don't like something and want to change it, someone else might like it and wouldn't want to change it.

Remakes ruin things no matter what Genre. Like VGfan said alot of these are close to are heart and have been for years. Thats why alot of remakes do so poorly the originals are the ones people want to remember. So no I wouldnt change a thing.

i would do some edits to Pocahontas. it was a bit dull. i say just throw in Pocahontas and John Smith, and the part where she saves him. but keep the songs!

Beauty and The Beast: My mum shocked me today by COMPLETELY agreeing with me that it's way too overrated. It's very rushed, most of the songs aren't amazing and Belle is boring and badly designed.
