I agree with both of them and they are mostly brave:) Jasmine and Belle are most brave than other princesses but some of them:)

Definitely. Belle is very reserved and whilst she had a fair amount of guts, she can't hold a candle to Jasmine. Not only was she brave enough to stand up to the guards and Jafar in the original, she stood up to the 40 thieves in Aladdin and The King of Thieves and totally kicked butt. Belle? She talked to a dictionary and put an angel on a tree in her sequels.

Come on... Belle is by far braver! I'd love to see Jasmine in Belle's situation, what did she do if her father was in the Beast's prison... Oh this is ridiculous. Not because I love Belle more, it's just being objective.

I can't believe Belle's winning. She's not brave AT ALL compared to Jasmine. She crapped herself over about 5 wolves. What would she have done if she was approached by 40 thieves at her wedding?
Also, Jasmine was already in a prison... her home. Belle agreed to stay there before she even knew there was a beast. She didn't really do anything brave by agreeing to that.

Straggy, Belle didn't agree to stay before knowing there was a beast. She says to Beast 'come into the light' sees what he is, then agrees to stay. I think agreeing to lose your freedom and family to be locked up (and she thought she'd be locked in the dungeon) to save someone is very brave.

To be fair to Jasmine, I should say I don't take the sequels into account when judging these. As they don't all have any it seems unfair to judge characters who only had 1 movie to show things like bravery, humour (whatever's being counted down) against those given sequels/shows, because of course if you give them way longer air time they'll show more in every way. It's also partly as the sequels are often out of character or contradict the original, they don't feel any more official to me than the tv shows.
I'm not saying others shouldn't take the sequels into account, it's fair enough to, just that when going only by their originals Belle seems braver to me :)

Jasmine and Belle are equal on sequels, that's why I'm taking into account. They both have three films in which they are the princess. Jasmine is braver in all of them.

I don't count sequels, so Belle. Belle was brave to take her father's place and be trapped in the Beast's castle. She tried to fight off the wolves with just a stick to protect herself and Phillipe instead of running away. That is for sure brave.

Bravery is not just kicking butt. In actuality, the best butt-kickers are usually pretty cowardly on the inside and use violence as a crutch. Bravery comes from the inside, and not do dive too heavily into Harry Potter references; but Dumbledore says that it can be just as difficult to stand up to friends as it is to do so against enemies.

Didn't Jasmine just punch one guy and with the rest she got help from the sidekicks? I need to see King of Thieves again.
