I honestly don't see very many similarities between Ariel and Jasmine.

She looks more like Ariel and acts more like Ariel than Jasmine, IMO.

Very hard considering all three are smart, kind, sweet, stubborn, head stronge, adventous, want a different life, rebelious, immature. However Rapunzel is more like Ariel because they're both clumsy plus Rapunzel looks like a computer animated, green eyes, blonde version of Ariel.

I agree with percyandpotter. I feel that they're only considered similar because they're both considered rebellious. Punzy isn't rebellious, yet I find her to have much more in common with both Ariel and Jasmine than Ariel and Jasmine have in common.

I don't see so many similarities between them both.

They're all a lot alike; all have lived a sheltered life, all have been strictly told not to venture outside their home because it's dangerous, all are extremely curious...the reason I chose Jasmine over Rapunzel is because she knows that she is a Princess...Rapunzel doesn't find out she's royalty until the end. And Jasmine and Ariel we both raised by their real Father, whereas Rapunzel was raised by a lady whom she thought was her Mother, but turned out to be the villain instead.
