I hated the third one though

I hate Cinderella II and think it's a prime example of why Disney sequels suck so badly. I don't really like Little Mermaid 2. Ariel's Beginning is okay & I think Cinderella III is vastly superior to any of the DP sequels, so I suppose it's pretty much equal when comparing both against each other.

Both of thier 3rd movies were better than the 2nd but I like Cinderella's 2nd more than Ariel's :)

I agree with SailorM91, both of thier 3rd films were better than the 2nd films.
Lord help me, I watched Return to the Sea and Ariel's Beginning.
Return to the Sea=I adore Ariel and Eric's daughter, Melody, but sadly her story was a rip-off of her mother's. Additionally, both Eric and Ariel (and everybody from the first film) suffered character derailment. Besides, the animation was bad-awful! The only person that looked good in the movie was Melody (and maybe Tip and Dash). Morgana was a very weak villian-she was not as threatening as Ursula. I would have it like better if they pick a different storyline and focus on both Eric, Ariel, and Melody as the main stars.

Ariel's Beginning=better animation and Ariel got her old 1989 personality back which is good. I enjoyed meeting her mother (now we know where she got her lovely voice from! ^^ ) and her sisters. (It didn't really bother me who was the oldest, I just assumed that all of them are older than Ariel). However the story falls short. It was a rip-off of Footloose and Sound of Music. Not to mention that Flounder and King Triton still suffer character derailment. Triton was worse because he was meaner in this prequel than he was in the first film-gee, no wonder why Ariel wanted to leave the sea!

I only saw parts of Dreams Do Come True. The only story I liked was the one where Anastasia falls in love with the baker. Everything else-blah!

A Twist in Time=A lot better! Finally, we have a sequel with an exciting plot and great animation! I've always like Cindy/Charming but thier romance in this sequel was really cute and heartwarming! My favorite scene was when Charming and Cindy reunite at the boat.
^^ Nobody suffered character derailment which is good. It wasn't that weird to see Anastasia having a change of heart because I had seen very rare Cinderella stories where one stepsister was nice while the other one was mean and nasty (in Ever After, one stepsister cares for Danielle while the other one was mean like the stepmom). The songs were good but not as memorable as the ones from the first film. Still, I really love "I Still Believe" because it was such a beautiful song. So if you finished watching Cinderella and want to watch a sequel, I say pick "A Twist of Time".

I like "Twist in Time" the most, although I prefer Cinderella's personality in the original. Then, it would be "Ariel's Beginning". I like it, but I think the t.v. show made more sense about what happened before the original movie.
The only thing I like about "Dreams Do Come True", was the Anastasia bit, and I don't even want to talk about how bad "Return to the Sea" is.
