The problem with Pocahontas' dress isn't just that it's plain--it's that it could have been so much more visually dynamic. While the animators obviously had limited textures and patterns to work with, the actual style and cut of her dress could have been far more interesting; not to mention the accessories. Before Pocahontas gets her mother's necklace, her outfit design is yawn-worthy--it's only afterwards that she gets some sort of strong visual identity. While Pocahontas' face and character design are very interesting, the difference between this outfit and the other women in the tribe are fairly understated, meaning her dress never stands out.

I'm surprised and happy that Aurora's grey dress isn't here, I think it's ugly. Snow White's dress is cute but the others are better. I might change to Pocahontas's dress.

This dress has the Native American style, but it was too simple. They can have more details to the dress. It is great in Pochontas, but it's plain.

While I think it pretty, but I don't think it suits her, she seems like she's so uncomfortable, so I don't like it for her.
