First of all are the villains. The Последнее villains have been weak, and do not seem real so when the hero triumphs Ты do not feel the need to cheer along with them. If the villain is еще menacing she/he is like another villain from an older Дисней movie. Take the villain from Enchanted; she is on a quest to get the трон this is nothing new Ursula was trying to achieve the same goal. Her looks were like a еще beautiful version of Snow Whites evil step mother, she uses magic and she turns into a dragon something that has already been used!
Next is the lack of songs. Yes they have songs but none the characters themselves sing, these songs are mostly for background noise или an odd out of place Музыка number. There’s no songs that help the story along, giving Ты looks into the characters feelings that in words would be awkward, like the song God Help the Outcast’s what if that had been Esmeralda speaking instead of singing?
Another thing is the animation. (If the movie is animated) The new Дисней Анимация has a very computerized look. This look does not compare to the look of old Disney, a еще homely and hand drawn look. The new look in a way does not take Ты into the story the way the old Анимация did, leaving Ты watching but not as into the movie as Ты could be.
Yet another thing to add to this Список is the focus Дисней has taken. The villains, as I mentioned above, have mellowed considerably, leaving something with the nametag of villain that Ты can not be frightened by. Дисней seems to have mellowed to, wanting еще jokes in their story and no frightening villains that might scare away their audience, young children. What happened to the first villains? I think Snow White was the scariest Дисней movie, why? Because of the villain that’s why! I do not remember having jokes in Aurora, what made it funny, if Ты can call it that was the Феи bickering with each other and the joking song of Skumps! Дисней was once looking out at a large audience, trying to make the Фильмы enjoyable for kids and adults now it seems that focus has narrowed.
Finally I come to the plot of the movies. The old and classic Дисней Фильмы have plots taken from books, Beauty and the Beast, The Black Caldron, Aladdin, all taken from books. But lately Дисней has been trying to find new ideas on their own and I do not think that they are doing a good job at it. This is just something I noticed and may not be totally true.
So I have come to my conclusion, most new Дисней Фильмы have a hollow shell of a villain, background noise that may be interesting, a clean computerized and perfect look that leaves Ты behind, and a storyline that is only mildly interesting.
