Quiz: Which Disney Pet Should You Name Your Pet After?

Life is full of turning points, moments where you must make a critical decision that will impact you forever. One such milestone is naming your pet.

Choosing the right name is no small feat. Creativity is important–no one wants to play fetch with a dog called “Bob.” But also descriptiveness, ease of use (some names are just too hard to say over and over again i.e. “Chrysanthemum the Cat”), and originality.

We want to help with this very important decision, as well as suggest a Disney pet name for your new dog, cat, hamster, beta fish… whatever.

Full disclosure, some of these are not *technically* pets, some are forest friends, playful sidekicks, but you get the idea.

Your pet needs a name that showcases its absolute hunger for all parts of life, mainly food. Your pet is loyal and honest (especially about their appetite), but most of all, is very cute!

Your pet is one of those that loves you more than anything else in the whole world. Probably not much of an “outside” pet, but at least you’ll always know where he is. On the couch. Waiting to hang out with you.

Clever, hungry for everything (especially treats), and always down for an adventure, Meeko is a great name for a pet who is more of a furry sidekick.

Mulan’s dog is the most dog kind of dog out there. (Remember the bone on a stick trick?) Not too bright, but full of love, if you have one of these doggy dog dogs, Little Brother is the perfect name.

You’re probably a rather creative and eclectic type. The word “hipster” may have been thrown around to describe you. As such, you need a cool and artsy name for your cool and artsy pet, hence, Pascal.

Your pet is one of those who think they are actually a part of the family. Like, your sister or your aunt who is always around. As such, they take care of you and don’t really understand why they need to go outside.

Classics are classics for a reason. Let’s face it, you love you some Disney, and what better way to show your Disney love than to name your pet after Mickey’s own loyal dog!

Your pet is charismatically rough around the edges. Clever, jovial, energetic, but maybe a little messy and scruffy. As the old song goes, “He’s a tramp, but they love him.”
