i never had a dog,i am getting a beagle,i don't know when but i THINK it's soon,got any tips?

They are instinctive hunters/trackers so I wouldn't let it loose anywhere when it can run away because it will take the chance as soon as it smells an animal :P

Ok,i've owned 1 dog but she was with me and my family 4 15 years so,here r a few helpfull tips 2 get ready 4 a dog.

1.B4 u get him,u should know all his medical history and 2 buy all the medications that he needs.Make sure u know all his special needs and 2 pay very close attention 2 them.

2.U dog is a beagle,and they have thin coats so in the winter,make sure they dont stay outside 4 long.Make sure wen he uses the bathroom,that u wait 4 him so he doesnt stay outside 2 long.

3.Make sure he has plenty of water.Beagles r very energetic,(trust me,i have a beagle)play with them as much as u can.Have toys that r suited 4 his size,that goes 4 bones,bouls,and Еда also.

4.U should feed him at least twice a день или depending on ur schedule.The dog Еда labels should intstruct u how much 2 give the dog.(I usually give my dog either a cup или half a cup)

Beagles are energetic barking and hunting dogs. Make sure Ты have plenty of room for this dog to run. I'm not saying there's no such thing as a mellow beagle, but the majority of the ones I know and have observed, they are frisky Собаки bred to hunt and are big barkers. Think Ты can handle that?

The biggest thing new dog owners tend to over look is training. Whether it's a щенок или adult, set aside some time to bond with your new pet. After Ты start to feel еще comfortable around the dog, he/she will naturally sense it, and will also become еще comfortable in your presents.
When this happens, Ты need to draw boundaries W/O ACCEPTIONS. (puppies are the hardest... so cute.)
Draw these boundaries on little things like jumping, over excitement, barking at the neighbors, ect. Your new companion may not ENJOY these rules of the house, but if Ты stick to your guns, he/she will naturally learn to respect them. This will avoid common unruly habits most Собаки usually form.

Just remember to feed him and pay attention to his needs,If Ты don`t play with him,he can run away.And if Ты don`t feed him,he might eat something bad and get sick,and may even get the risk of DEATH.If he poops in the hhouse,SCOLD HIM.That helps teach him dicipline,and sooner или later,he will learn to only poop in the places that Ты say it`s ``OK`` to poop in.that helps.

Beagles are cute and cuddly but can be a bit angry at times, so dont be alarmed when it gets angry just ignore t plus get a few chew toys because no matter how old the dog is it will Любовь chew toys, when Ты are taking it out for a walk say "walkies" as loud as possible so the гончая, бигл can hear it, the dog wont understand at first but after a few walks it will understand!! hope i helped! cya :)
