Do Ты believe in Автор powers? 8D

Yes, I do believe in Автор power. Because Письмо a fic itself is giving power to a person to change the original canon story around. Автор notes are acceptable, because an Автор does need to write a little note to the readers, but to me, they are acceptable as long as they are before или after the fic. ANs between fics, however, is a big no-no for me. ANs inserted in the middle of a fic can ruin the entire tone of the story, and jolts Ты back to reality and Ты think that "oh yeah, it's just a fanfiction."

Self-inserts in general bothers me a lot, don't even ask why. It's just really, really annoying, and most of them are badly written in my fandom. Fourth Стена breakages.. hmm, haven't seen much of those around, but I'm not really fond of those either. Basically, I prefer fics to be taking place in its universe, and the authors' role in this is just Письмо the story itself, and that's it.

Автор notes are fine either at the start или end of a chapter. Sometimes they're necessary, e.g. a note explaining that the Далее chapter will be delayed for some reason или other. An Автор note in the middle of the chapter spoils the flow though.

Автор powers and ruling the story - what do Ты mean? The Автор decides what happens in the story, that is what it means to be the author. Ты can do whatever Ты want (as long as Ты mention canon divergence, AU etc in the summary, since some people dislike this)

I've read a few self-insertions and they've been ok. I know a lot of people hate the majority, или hate them all, though. Maybe I've been lucky in the ones I've found.

I don't really like fourth Стена breakage. Like the mid-chapter notes, it breaks the flow.
