by the hat- i would film myself and show you guys the hat, all the slips of paper (so you know i'm not cheating and then basically just pick them in front of you guys)

by the number game- okay it works like this (i think, correct me if i'm wrong cinders) one user sends any number from 1-100 to another fanpop user, everyone that then wants to be a judge would then guess their own numbers (again any number 1-100) and put them on the link. the wanabe judges with the closest numbers get to be acctual judges

(the number sending thing is to again prove no cheating and we would need two random user to also do that)

personally i'm scared that if i do the hat thing and pull myself out you guys will all think that i've cheated lol... maybe someone else impartial could do the hat thing, how did the fanpoppy judges get decided?

anyway..i am against people voting for talents in a pick because it should be anonymous! if people are going to put in effort i dont want anyone to sit there with no votes at all...or knowing by how much they missed the next round etc.
the judges would just be there to count the votes of the community anyway i.e. the fanpoppers decide. i think they should give out a special " outstanding achievement" award for someone who didnt make round two but put in a lot of work

I like the numbers idea simply because it gives the wannabe judges some input into the process (however illusory). We can then kick ourselves if we didn't pick the right number, rather than getting upset with someone else.

Debs, you got it. We do 1-10 in the Debate Spot, but only because there are 2 people choosing.

so erm cinder you haven't volunteered to be a judge so if you don't want to be one (forgive me if you do) do you fancy being a number picker and finding a reliable someone to send a number to so we can get the ball rolling? (i will be closing of the ability to put your name down on the judges thing as of 24 hours when the forum was made, as we need someone who constantly checks updates anyways)

it will be hard to hand over this little baby to someone else if i don't get picked but it will mack it easier to bring it in the competition ;P
