I liked it for a while, but at the end, I was SO DISAPPOINTED.

I was really, really hoping that John would turn out to be a psycho. LET ME TELL YOU how I wanted this to play out. I had it all planned: John gets comfortable around Laomi and begins to show his inner psycho, which scares Laomi off, who steals his gun on the way out. The search for her would really more of a hunt, for a) his gun, and b) vengeance. But noooooooo.

They turned an extraordinary actor like GARRET EFFING DILLAHUNT into a pathetic, lovesick puppy. Do you idiots have any idea what he is capable of? He could have been the villain to rival Negan. Instead, we get THIS, and a "big bad villain" who looks like a boy band reject that Madison could've taken out single-handedly.

May the ghost of Troy Otto come back and murder all you lame-ass excuses for characters.

The TWD universe has achieved the impossible: making an episode that focused on Garret Dillahunt boring.

John Dorie is a cute little bean, but for the love of god, at what cost. I was tolerating the episode because Dillahunt was doing the best he could with bad material, but then they shoehorned in the love-y crap (literally it was like "oh shit the episode is almost over we forgot these two have to have The Sex!") and I gave up trying to be positive.

Maybe I missed something, but why are the zombies so excited to throw themselves off the bridge? And why did that large group of them attack the car and then throw themselves off the bridge? Normally they'd just all wander around aimlessly until a living thing or a noise attracted them, but these zombies were desperate to swim for some reason? And when they arrived at John's house, why were they in attack mode? The house was silent, yet all the zombies were behaving like they being drawn to a free dinner... I feel like I can't even understand zombie motivations anymore, let alone try understand the terrible way so many of the living characters are being written right now.

John losing his shit with Zombie McShoulderMachete is promising for future John Dorie Shit Losing though.

The zombies knew the romance bullshit was coming. They were trying to put the new FTWD Power Couple out of our misery.
