Nathalie Emmanuel is on board with the romance brewing between Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson) and her character, Missandei, on "Game of Thrones." In Season 5\'s fifth episode, the two advisors to Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) shared their first kiss, finally consummating the budding attraction between them.

"You can see that these two characters feel very, very strong with one another," Emmanuel told Zap2it at "Game of Thrones\'" Season 5 premiere in San Francisco. "It\'s just a very lovely, beautiful thing. There\'s something so innocent and pure about it. I love the storyline. I love working with Jacob. He\'s such a joy, and we have a lot of fun."

Beyond her love story, Missandei\'s key Season 5 function is to advise her queen in the complicated politics at play in Meereen. Considering enemies of the Khaleesi killed her advisor Ser Barristan (Ian McElhinney) in episode 4, Daenerys desperately needs people she can trust to help her lead.

"She does make a good queen. She\'s trying eradicate injustice and the powerful preying on the weak, or the rich preying on the poor. She really is trying to create a fair, free world, but that doesn\'t always come easily," Emmanuel says. "She\'s definitely facing problems with that this season. Missandei definitely is there to advise her when she runs into these circumstances that are quite difficult."

Even though Daenerys is currently residing in Meereen, her long-term goal is to invade Westeros and reclaim the Iron Throne. Considering "Game of Thrones" is already in Season 5, fans have started wondering when, or if, that invasion across the Narrow Sea is ever going to happen.

"I\'m sure it will. It has to at some point," Emmanuel says, before checking herself. "Who knows? We\'re at this point now where none of us knows what\'s going on or the future holds for \'Game of Thrones,\' book or TV series. It\'s a very exciting time in Westeros at the moment."

"Game of Thrones" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.
