I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Emilia Clarke on all the pre-season Kit Harington sightings
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
It’s been a couple weeks since Emilia Clarke
7th Annual Power Women’s Breakfast, but there are a couple interesting quotes we didn’t catch on the first go-round. Clarke, ever the trend-setter, actually sounded off on two topics many of her costars, not to mention the production staff, have avoided: the pre-season sightings of Kit Harington, and HBO’s announcement that the show will run for at least eight seasons. Check her out in this video interview from
mysterious eighth season. A couple months ago, HBO president Michael Lombardo said that the show would run for at least eight years, although he unsurprisingly implied that he’d be happy making even more. Now we have Clarke clarifying the timeframe:
Yeah, it’s gonna be no more than eight. So I think that we will have…maybe seven’ll get split into two, or maybe it’ll just be straight to eight.
Sorry, Mr. Lombardo—at least so far as Clarke is concerned, eight is it.
Networks have been known to split the final season of their prestige series into two before—see
definitely qualifies as a prestige show, so I can see this happening. Assuming it proceeds as per usual, the splitting method would give the producers at few more episodes to work with, say 75 instead of 70.
Then again, if I were Lombardo, I would be pushing for a full eighth season, with its 10-episode payload. That might be best for the show, too, seeing how much material the producers are bringing to the table in Season 6.
It’s been something of an open secret that Jon Snow, despite his murder at the end of Season 5, will be returning for Season 6 ever since on-set photos of Kit Harington in full costume emerged. A few cast members have weighed in on the Is-Jon-Snow-Dead question since then (Maisie Williams memorably stuck to her “yes-he-is” stance, despite photographic evidence to the contrary), but I think Clarke is the first one to mention the leaks. Here’s what she said about Harington’s appearance on set:
I think that he loves us, I think that he misses us, and I think that we like to mess with those people who are snooping around our set, trying to get information that they don’t really want to know.
Okay, so she’s being pretty jokey, but tackling the leaks head-on is fairly bold. I also love the suggestion that HBO has been trolling us this whole time, and that the leaked pics were somehow set up to make us
that Jon is back, even though he’s actually dead. I’m pretty certain that’s not the case, but I would probably develop a weird kind of respect for the network if it actually pulled that off.
Everyone wants to leave a legacy when they die, something for our loved ones to remember us by...
David Peterson, seen above sitting in front of a rather epic board game collection, famously...

Sucking Gaia…….she needs to stop sucking and being terrible! You’re cool though ;)
Awww I like Emilia. She’s an iffy actress but seems a cool chick. And WAAAAAY less annoying than Maisie and Sophie.
She seems like a super cool chick. As a dramatic actress though… ./facepalm. I think she would be a great comedian, she has a special spark.
Oh, I would wager that HBO has absolutey trolled the fans with appearances on the set as well as shots in the show itself…
Uhm I don’t think so, they wouldn’t waste their time creating false leads. Nor would Kit spend his time just hanging around lol:)) it would cost way to much time and money. Jon is back! I’m certain of it. At this point I think I’d be a greater shock if he didn’t. I think everyone needs to calm down now that we’ve seen picture proof he’s there one way or another. I still believe A Song of Ice and Fire is about Jon. If you think about it, there’s not ONE honorable and good man/hero left!! Every story needs a “hero”!! And it’s gonna be him. But I could be wrong of course! I certainly hope so !:) Jon is the main reason why I love Game of Thrones
I meant to say I certainly hope I’m right 😀
Boy, you said it!!! I agree with absolutely everything you said!! Jon Snow is the reason I LOVE GoT!! And I hope in the end, he survives, even if he doesn’t sit on the Iron Throne, don’t know if that would b what he would want?! But to finally have a happy life!!
Yes,i love GoT ONLY for Jon Snow,my hero, the song of ice and fire…
In the first few seasons I thought the wall scenes were boring and instead was totally into the King’s Landing intrigue. By season 4 I was rooting for Jon, but I didn’t realize how much I loved the character until he died:( Now I couldn’t care less about anyone else, really. I have re-watched episodes just to go back and see him alive:) I still haven’t watched the death scene. I saw it coming with the traitor sign and I can’t bear to watch that actually go down ugh.
I fully expect HBO, D&D, and Cast to continue to mess with our emotions/logic, whichever leads you. How lame would it be to have that Jon pic come out and have everyone completely 180 on it like “yeah, ok, you fans got us, and everything is going to be just peachy with Jon.” Womp-womp. That would take all of the excitement out of seeing what really happens. I say kudos to the lot of them for sticking to their guns. Keep us guessing. That is what makes all of this so great.
D&D said they were going to blow up the Internet before they killed Jon off. Mission accomplished.
I’m in the Jon is ressurected by Mel camp (if you couldn’t tell), but who knows for sure. But I disagree that it would cost them a fortune to keep Kit around for promotion/misdirection purposes. Kit most likely signed a long term contract that keeps him around until released. He was not very well known before GOT, so probably not making as much as if he signed a contract today. Think of what his promotional value has been. Every interview with cast present or past since the end of season 5, the question “Is Jon Snow Dead?” It keeps GOT in the public eye. Way cheaper than trailers.
“He was not very well known before GOT”
Actually I’m pretty sure GOT is his very first role (outside of plays.) That’s pretty impressive imo.
I think she handled it in a funny, cute and imaginative way.
…….. Since Emilia Clarke being a bad actress??? That secret is out too…….
I get that she is very nice to look at. I concede that she is very attractive. But every time she opens her mouth… that hyper, Valley Girl tone makes me want to shove something in her mouth to shut her up.
Red lady you sound stupid, you should shove something in your mouth.
I think some people are waaaaay to hard on emilia. She’s not the best actor……but I certainly don’t think she’s anywhere near as bad as some people make out. Anyways, who would people rather have cast as Dany? That freaky looking chick out of the Tudors who Was cast as Dany in the pilot? She is a pretty weak and insipid actor from what I’ve seen. ??Tamzin Merchant I think her name is?? Just my two cents worth!! 😀
These people wouldn’t know a good actor if they them in the ass..granted, she is not a great actress but she does a wonderful job as dany.
Yeah and there are pictures of Shay the funny whore and Khal Drogo on set too.
I’m going to laugh my ass off if it turns out you true believers are wrong.
Rose Leslie has been spotted all over Belfast all shooting season, including once with the Night’s Watch and once at the Wrap Party.
Shocked it isn’t getting attention. She also spouts the company line of “deader then dead” that David Nutter uses.
I think most people assume Rose is there to see Kit, rather than actually filming. Especially considering Ygritte was burned in Season 4.
The very minute the photos came out, I thought “Waaiiit. Maybe HBO does still have him under contract, and they are using that to mess with us.” I don’t think that’s the case, or at least I don’t want to, I think it’s far more likely that quotes like this are very intentional, and meant to plant a seed of doubt.
