except Jake's not much like Finn, Kitty's not like Quinn and Marley's defo nothing like Rachel! but the the whole popular guy/Cheerleader/loser thing is the same.

No, it's kinda the same but there are to differents relationships because Jake is a "womanizer" and he recently started to date with Kitty and Finn is so different because he loved Quinn

The only character the same is Quinn/Kitty. Now if Kitty joins the Glee club to watch the two of them, then I'll suspect something. If Kitty gets prego I'll quit lol.

More like the love rectangle Rachel-Finn-Quinn-Puck in S1, but reversed. Jake->Puck (bad boy attitude), Kitty->Quinn (mean cheerleader), Marley->Rachel (nice talented girl minus the ambition), Ryder->Finn (the sweet guy who got into Glee Club kinda randomly) it fits IMO except that Marley is the one with 2 guys fighting for her & Jake is the middle of the love triangle.
