I can't say the track record for video game movies has been very good (Bloodrayne, Doom, Super Mario Bros., Street Fighter), but I suppose if anyone has a shot at pulling it off it's Peter Jackson.

I'm just bummed about the feud btw. Jackson and New Line over 'The Hobbit'. It sounds like there's no chance Jackson will be making the prequel to the Lord of the Rings now :-(
