Well I've been Письмо a little fanfic recently and I realized that when I write fanfic, I mostly let my character's handle the plot. Whatever happens to pop in my head at the time, and doesn't go completely against the в общем и целом, общая story line, gets put in the fanfic.
But Smeyer says that she wrote Twilight by just "letting her characters handle the plot". There by making it seem a lot like how, not only I, but other people, write Фан fiction.

First, let me get this straight: I'm not a Фан of Twilight. In fact, I hate it. But I can see why everyone's so hyped up about it.

Okay, my friend and I go to a school that has a thing called 'Lit Circles'. There's a Список of books, and Twilight is on there, but not Harry Potter. My friend thought this was totally wrong, and wrote a super long persuasive essay to our English teacher about it. This was all hers, and I can't take credit for how awesome it is :)

May I first tell Ты that your 'Saga' is complete and utter crap. I also would like to highlight the fact that your 'books' are an insult to literature and vampires.

So we all know who Bella is, complete muggle and interfering with the magical world. If I were to write “Breaking Dawn” (minus the part of the Volturi getting arrested by the police), here’s how it would go:

1. Bella beats up Jake for imprinting on her daughter

2. Volturi get word about Renesmee’s birth and rush off to Forks, bringing an entire army with them

3. Cullens get allies and several people who just flat-out hate the Volturi.

4. Волки get in on it

5. Big battle ensues and several allies (like Tanya and Rosalie) die

6. Renesmee runs away and hides and Jacob follows her

I am sure lot of Ты won't agree with me but anyway this is my opinion. This riot going on that HP is better than Twilight is beyond me. These Книги are riveting and thrilling in their own way.
First Twilight, yes I too realise it has too much of Любовь and unrealistic charecteristics in people. However Ты have to say it is great piece of imagination. We have to understand that HP plot is far bigger than that of Twilight. It is a plot where the survival of the world depends on one character whereas in Twilight it is just the fate of two звезда crossed Влюбленные and the obstacles faced by them. HP...
