I don't like either Edward or Jacob. They are both abusive. Edward is psychologically abusive and Jacob is sexually abusive.

Jacob circa New Moon was a great character. He was a great friend and had a bit of depth, etc. Of course, when Team Jacob gathered so many followers, Smeyer had to make him abuse Bella, even though it was completely out of character, and turn him into a dickhead so Edward was the obvious choice. Oh yeah, and then he imprinted on a BABY. That's when I stopped liking him.

However, he is still a thousand times better than the sparkly, abusive, stalker-paedophile.

Yes, until Ecl, Jacob seemed normal, then he just decided to go ahead and kiss Bella - at the time, I thought he was more hard-core, but now, yeah, he's sexually abusive - and Meyer just killed his character in BD. Like, Siriusly? Did you have to fall in love with a newborn hybrid baby? >.<

I guess it's because he's a lot less superficial than Edward. He was never supposed to end up with Bella, so he's not perfect like the rest of the characters.

Jacob doesn't sparkle but he still looks amazing. I love his personality and character. He fights for his love and doesn't give up. There are lots of things I love about him.. And don't think I hate Edward.. No, I don't. But he.. he's not Jacob ;)

A lot of people give him grief for imprinting on a baby. I don't like that it happens, but it's not his fault. He is not sexually attracted to her yet, either. He just wants the best for her. Like a big brother or something.

hes not totaly abusive and he tried to save bella when she was on her suicide mission. hes a smarter nicer all around better person. (not that i care for bella) and he looks so much better.
