Гарри Поттер Вопрос

Since the forbidden forest is full of such dangerous creatures, why aren't there any magical safeguards preventing people from going in? It would be as simple as putting an age line up so that Hagrid could still do his duties but no kids could get in.

That's a good question. But remember: Hagrid takes his classes into the forest for his COMC lessons. Also, alot of the creatures are deep inside the forest, and Dumbledore figured that you'd have to either be a complete idiot или suicidal to go that deep into the forest.

yeah, but before Hagrid was a teacher the students never went in the forest for lessons so there should have been some safeguard. also, usually when Ты tell kids not to do something или go somewhere they do just that even if the parents say it's dangerous.

And putting a guard around it, would that also keep things /in/ it? Because, there are in fact many good things. Like Firenze, the centaur that saved him.

If that's not what Ты mean, Ты just mean keeping people out, then I don't know exactly.
And agreeing with the person above me, pretty much. We've got a class that goes in and out.
And before Hagrid taught: well maybe they didn't really think of it quite yet...
Well, good luck on finding the answer.

If Ты are to draw an age line around it, errm, I think it will be pretty big, eh?

And maybe that's how Dumbledore see who among the students are rule-breakers.. heehee.. :DD

they need gaurds for alot of other things too, mabey its just unesassary (im bad at spelling) for this. as said...no-one would go so deep into the forest just for fun. if there were gaurds it would be hard to go in to get the importent things done, the ACTUAL reason why ppl wud go so deep into the forests.

The forbidden forest is called the forbidden forest, because it is dangerous to be in between many different types of creatures. The students are warned not to go in it, but if they chose to do so then they are putting themselves into danger. The principals office at your school for example, Ты are not allowed to go in, unless Ты have permission to do so, или Ты are being supervised by an adult. If Ты go into the principals office Ты will be in deep trouble, just like being caught in the forbidden forest. By the way, Hagrid's hut is near the forbidden forests entry, he can watch out for anything going wrong. Don't forget Harry and a couple of helper's from dumbledores army would not be able to escape from Umbridge in the book- Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix- if the forbidden forest was surrounded with an age line. Well anyways students are warned not to go in, and that is their choice whether или not they want to take the risk.
