I just want to see if i've got this right. Hagrid would have been 13 when he was expelled and the chamber of secrets was opened 50 years ago. so that makes Hagrid 63 years old as of the 2nd book?

So that means Molly is even older because there was a different gamekeeper at hogwarts when she went there. which means she would have to have been in her late 40s to early 50s before she had her first kid, as the oldest would have been around 20 at that point.

Youre a genius for figuring that out. That just made my brain melt.Well,at least we know Molly was responsible

Well, Molly could have been at Hogwarts before Hagrid was there. That way she would have been in her 20s.

well, if we assume Hagrid became the gamekeeper shortly after he was expelled, then if Molly finished before that point she'd have to be at least 5 years older than him. she could have been like 17 when he was 12 and finished the год before he was expelled. but yes Ты are right, she probably was there a while before Hagrid started, meaning she could have well been iin her 20s which would mean she would have been even older when she had her first kid.

Voldemort's cool though. Like, I think he's a really well-created villain.

yeah, but 70 for a wizard is like the muggle equivalent of 40 years. cuz didn't dumbledore live to be well over a 100?

that's wierd, because if he was 63 in the 2nd book, when harry was 12, if Ты read the 7th book[he had to be 70 in the 7th], remember the 19 years later epilogue? and harry told albus 'don't forget Ты have чай with hagrid' или something like that, so wouldn't that make hagrid, like, 89 in the 19 years later epilogue? right?

well by my logic he would actually be 68 as of the 7th book cuz it's 5 years later. so he'd be 87. which following my logic would be like the muggle equivalent of 57.

oh yeahh! my mistake...but wait, wizards have different age 'systems' than muggles?

well, i'm not sure about this part at all. but i assume the magic in their blood allows them to live longer and fitter than muggles. it's just my way of relating it еще to us so we could understand how a 100+ год old Dumbledore could still be so strong, agile and mentally fit for his age.
